A vivid portrait of the interlocutors of the Dialogues, historical characters through their reconstructed correspondence with Galileo. A Sagredo and Salviati joins Fortunio Liceti, then distinguished academic philosopher, plausible model for the character of Simplicio, as well as a symbol of a culture almost over and a momentous break with the tradition of knowledge (as well as today compared to the changes and new anthropological horizons widened by the dramatic technological advances?). And finally open, the character who is not in the Dialogues, but in a sketch published posthumously takes the place of Simplicio, reflecting a radical change of strategy by Galileo in his tireless efforts to spread the new science. The voices of the correspondents, weaving, drawing curious part u from the inside of the '600, suspended between centuries old stories and the scientific method, and openings open up many aspects of life and customs of the time. The civilization of interpersonal relationships and respect, least important, the opponent, call for today's reader in a sort of nostalgia for a world that seems remote even lost his memory.
