La Stefi e il Corriere dei Piccoli

When I was in elementary school I waited eagerly exit kiosk in the "Corriere dei Piccoli" because I loved the comic stories of Stefi, cleverly designed by the talented Grace Nidasio. And is she in this post I want to thank, for making me smile every time I found myself with Corrierino in hand! :-)

was a party to follow his adventures! The Diary of Stefi "talked about a lot of fun things and looked at the world through the eyes of a girl who could be about my age, my dreams and my aspirations at that time. I, at the time, often took refuge in the house of stuff to read undisturbed its colorful cartoons that I love it! And then there was the dog Ubu, Valerie's sister, the Eziomaria, the friend with the adenoids I can not remember more than the name and the whole family to complete Morandini ... that's fun!

:-) Yes, it is true, Stefi it combines all the colors, but those drawings photographed our children and serene Nidasio to paint perfectly with an intensity and purity that only a great artist is able to express that way! I'm glad I grew up with his comic book under his arm because to me what seemed like a fantasy world and situations that were described so well I was living in the newspaper that at times I wanted to laugh because I wondered how he did the author know all those things about me ... I happened to have spied on?!? ;-) I think the

Mi sono armata di santa patience and I contacted individually via email all sellers they could do to my case and finally, after an exhausting search, I found what I was looking for, even much more: I found that even a Corrierino Stefi had designs on the cover! Hooray, hooray! Without batting an eye I made the purchase online and for a few days I found myself at home waiting for the postman with the same enthusiasm I had as a child when I was racing on sale before it closed! :-)

The package arrived intact, I've dropped the case with due care and when I picked up the newspaper I almost had a heart sank! She was the heroine of my memories!

- Nidasio Dear Grace, it would be wonderful to relate the story of the people online that you've cleverly designed! Have you ever thought to create a website with all of your masterpieces of illustration? Designers are great around there that would be happy to help you achieve it! :-) And what a lovely print publication that encompasses the entire collection of the hit series?!? A nice big book with cardboard cover, the same format as "the Little Corrierino" to browse as it was then!?! I'm sure he soon met a huge success! How about we try? - Ehh ... ehh ... Ehh ... ;-)

La t-shirt dipinta a mano

Last night I did not know how to give vent to creativity, when I got the bright idea to paint some t-shirt that I had at home.

I state that I love the simplicity, so most of the time of purchase little things without too much lace in the drawers and then I always at the disposal of long-sleeved cotton shirts to wear under wool sweaters: strictly white, black and gray. That seems so very sad and indeed it is! Those colors accurately reflect my state of mind winter! In summer it is quite another matter, I love the heads and brightly colored t-shirt parade from yellow to red to orange with many written spirit and fun, but alas as soon as autumn arrives cools my mood, I suffer terribly and I am turning gray as the sky in December! So to maintain an acceptable state of mind and not to fall into utter depression I have to organize something else creative I am not happy. Fortunately, sometimes we take it and the satisfaction that I can make is great!

:-) This time I got excited at the thought of a media smear that was not simply a canvas to hang on the wall, but something that can be worn at all times and so I went to buy time for the fabric in a department store, workroom. Once in the store, however, I had to listen to that much pain in the neck of my "supervisor" inside that I was not dropped for a moment: - The Christmas spirit is pressing and the silver is the top for this period, gold is too heavy and warm colors you can use them only in summer, so take that, we understand?!? - E 'was class! Well? Moral: I left the store with only one tube in hand, the silver! ;-)

Back home, I arranged the work place and I started to experiment with little evidence on some old pants ... eh .. eh .. eh .. do not throw anything away, everything is recycled! :-)

BINGO! Funziona!!! -

's been too funny! The white t-shirt I designed a good heart at the center of the mesh, a star on the black and a gray bezel: then I hung all in a row in the bathroom and I started with the hair dryer gun to dry the fabric to the tempera . Result: glitter everywhere, even the cat! Ahh .. ahh .. ahh .. sbrilluccicante a kitten! - Oh Lilly, you're ready to go disco dancing!?! -

;-))) Now, despite the fact that it took almost an hour to put back the clock for home, since to look for the metal contraption I took down half the kitchen, but want to put satisfaction?!? Fumble satisfaction with brushes, download the tensions and return of good humor. Guaranteed! :-)

La casa dei miei sogni fuori citta'

As in the previous article we talked about dreams, why do not we go for a walk in the house out of town? You just have to be careful not to let too much go with the fantasy, the risk is of not wanting to get out of puff! ;-)

La casa dei miei sogni in citta'

How many times did you daydream of a special house where you always wanted to live ? To me it happens all too often, but this time instead of letting the dream locked in a drawer, I have preferred to see it pretty well, so I did a little research online and I have selected some photographs that are in principle the idea I've made the house of my dreams, even the houses of my dreams, in a city and an out of town. Dreaming is free, fair or not?? ;-)

Put a relaxing music in the background and be transported by the sound and images that run here in front of you. Can you perceive emotional feelings? Simple, light, beauty, elegance, relaxation, softness, warmth, warmth, love. These are the feelings that I get coming into my dream home. And your what? :-)

Sto armeggiando in una stanzetta tutta blu al piano terra; la casa probably not inhabited for some time, but there are a lot of good things, like a small house museum with lots of memories, books, paintings and objects travel. Not finding what I try, I decide to leave, even if empty-handed. I take my house keys and the door I am going to close the old wooden door, as I see in passing on my left, a wonderful country that borders the place where I am.

I lean more to see and know that in addition to the massive front door facing the street, you open a huge estate with a beautiful courtyard and an old farmhouse (I admit, I have a weakness for old ruins, but this is much better, seems a very nice villa Liberty!) - Wow, how wonderful! - exclaimed loudly over the porch and someone turns to me now: - Miss, come as well! The fact we just adjusting! Come, do not be afraid! - The people I see at the bottom of the courtyard kindly invite me to come in, so I'm going to plow the entrance to the farm and in the meantime materialize even mom and dad.

welcomes us a beautiful lady of about fifty, dressed in the country, one of those ladies that although the wealthy noble blood, do not flaunt their wealth. I'm excited because the lady of the house with us for a ride in the family estate, proud of their property che stanno finendo di ristrutturare.

I am reminded of those niches than once, the ones where you can relax in the afternoon of hot summers, the ones where you find yourself with the grapes on their heads and wrought iron chairs to welcome you. Ah, how wonderful!

Mrs. provides us with a mint tea with pine nuts (I think I'm still in Tunisia) and asks us if we want to continue the small tour. To which I reply yes: - know, family we are great travelers and we love meeting new people everywhere we go! - Then she moves into the small courtyard wall and a little further on we meet a young man - Meet my nephew! - The boy must have been about my age and I feel well of view of knowing, although I'm not so sure. So start talking with him and he does a lot of questions: - What do you do? What do you do? Really write? I'd like to read some of your article! - he tells me. Starts to tell a little 'me, when I suddenly distracted by something else.

In distance, I saw an elderly gentleman sitting on a chair and turn an eye to the hostess to ask who he is.
- He is "Grandpa." Unfortunately, there is the whole day looking at property the horizon and stopped talking for a long, long time! - The tone in which pronounces the sentence hides a veil of sadness and resignation. I approached him slowly, I bow in reverence, and the first thing that comes to mind to do at that time is ... kiss his hands! A very spontaneous and instinctive gesture.

Elder opens her eyes and asked me softly softly
- Why? - I tell him whispering in his ear - Lord, mine is a sign of respect towards your side who is wise in front of me! - The old man looks at me in disbelief and I still impalpably to utter words: - not think you are useless and only! If you feel that life has nothing more to offer, know that it is not so! Yes, yes, she is a person elderly, but it can make available to others of his wisdom! Do it, please! Resume to speak with his family or those who feel close to you! - The man seems to awake from a hypnotic trance. From his wrinkled face down a tear of emotion, almost as happy as a child who has just received good news. Perhaps his relatives, while nurturing love for him, all these years have not been able to support him as he wanted!

The woman realizes the magic of the moment and understand that those words have managed to stir something in the heart of the old:
- Grandfather spoke, no one believes! But it is able to encourage him? - I would say that not I know and I did not do anything special, but inside I smile because I feel I have helped a man find the courage to move forward. I am happy for this small gesture and I wake up and some words still echo in me: - Keep writing, do not stop! -

So this morning I got out of bed determined to tell what I had dreamed. The funny thing is that in the first half asleep I had no desire to wake dall'idillio! When I realized now that you have your eyes open, I made a great effort to come back to reality because I wanted to stay longer in the estate to discover new adventures ... but it was sounded the alarm!

The feeling is that the scene was real good and now I feel as if I had I made that gesture indeed! Then I ask myself: "If a dream is capable of giving real emotions as those experienced, what is the difference between dreams and reality?" certainly did not want to finish the piece Gigi Marzullo, but the question arose spontaneously! Sometimes I think the dream is a safe haven where we will dock with the mind to rest from the continuous external forces that bind us to life, but in the end is always the result of our mind or our soul, mah?!? I know that between seeing and not seeing ... I go back to sleep! ;-)
